Social Studies 11 concerns the story of Canada from the beginning of the twentieth century to the present. Students will study the key components of the Canadian political system and deconstruct the concept of authority. Students will explore Canadian and world geography and integrate the concept of stewardship into their understanding of current environmental realities.
This course is based on one 6-8 hour lesson every week.
Students are required to download and complete or print assignments, scan (either by taking pictures or physically scanning) and upload their assignments. Forums and self-evaluations are done directly online within Moodle.
